Too Hard To Live With is a short film directed, filmed and edited by Scott Pincus. It marks the acting debut of Kyle Carozzi and Jacob Huber in his films. The two convinced Scott to improvise a short film with them, so they developed the concept for the film almost immediately. The film was shot on October 27, 2017, and was released almost three weeks later on November 15. The film stars Kyle Carozzi and Jacob Huber, and it also features a brief cameo by Michael Robinson

Plot

Kyle (Kyle Carozzi) sits in his room trying to do work on his laptop, while his hyperactive roommate Jacob (Jacob Huber) loiters around the room causing mayhem. Kyle becomes extremely annoyed with Jacob, and eventually confronts him. He calls Jacob a mistake and wishes they were never roommates, which Jacob ignores. Infuriated, Kyle puts down his laptop and chases Jacob out of the room. After Jacob falls, Kyle chokes him into unconsciousness.

Shortly after, Kyle locks his door and turns the light in the room red, as he straps Jacob to a chair and puts duck tape over his mouth. Jacob wakes up after Kyle slaps him, and he starts panicking. Kyle tells Jacob that he brought this on himself, and that he's too stupid and hard to live with. Kyle justifies that this had to be done, to which Jacob eats the duck tape on his mouth and spits it out. Kyle calls Jacob a disgusting creature, and Jacob stands up - with his hands still strapped to the chair - and gets up in Kyle's face. Kyle shoves Jacob back, and he falls to the ground.

Kyle runs over to Jacob's bed and grabs a pillow, lunging onto Jacob and smothering his face with it. After a lengthy struggle, Kyle suffocates Jacob to death, and is extremely relieved to have gotten rid of his roommate. As Kyle sits on the ground in satisfaction, Michael (Michael Robinson) suddenly walks in the room, unaware as to what's been happening.

Trivia

  • This film marks the acting debut of Kyle Carozzi and Jacob Huber in Scott's films.
