The EdTech Enterprise is a short film directed, produced, written and edited by Scott Pincus. It is Scott and his crew's entry to the first annual White House Student Film Festival. Gabe Sagherian stars as himself, and goes around to various people with the intent of asking them how they think technology benefits to education. Michael Robinson, John P and Cameron Nicholson round out the film's supporting cast, and make their acting debuts with the film.

The EdTech Enterprise was released on January 26, 2014. An indirect sequel, An Aspiration to Excel, was released on January 16, 2015. A third and final indirect film, The Best of West, was released on May 14, 2017.

Plot[]

The short film opens with Gabe introducing the premise on how technology has strengthened throughout the years and served as a powerful innovator to education. As he talks, he asks his fellow classmate Mitchell how he thinks technology benefits to education. Mitchell says that phones have become a bigger use in classrooms, especially through the program "Bring Your Own Device". The two run up the hallway and come across another student, Michael. Michael says how computers have been a big advantage as well, and he tags along with Mitchell and Gabe as they continue their search.

The trio arrive at a classroom that has a smart board inside. Gabe explains how smart boards play a key role in today's classrooms, as they present a new way of teaching the class. The trio then heads off again, eventually making it to the school's main lobby. There, they find Cameron, who explains how skyping another person allows students to become more involved in the classroom and the learning process. Gabe summarizes that technology is a benefit to education, before the group walks outside together.

Upon exiting the school, Gabe realizes that he forgot his science textbook inside, and can't retrieve it because the doors are locked. Cameron then reminds Gabe that he can simply look up his textbook on his computer. Realizing that Cameron is right, and also being reminded of how beneficial technology is to education, the four jump in the air, cheer, and hi-five each other.
